A local dive bar princess. Spending her time along the East coast, Carpenter is often compared to the likes of Mazzy Star, Nancy Sinatra, and Lana Del Rey. Inspired by the femme fatale western ballades of the past, Carpenter’s writing is filled with old school story telling and philosophical influence from her time living in Paris and working in jazz clubs. After being on American Idol two times, Carpenter has dedicated her career to being on the road and bringing her jazz influence to every corner of America. Her Sound is akin to a western James Bond soundtrack as she brings a cinematic presence to the stage with long vintage dresses, live saxophone and trumpets, paired with the country roots of a pedal steel.
